T700 Cannulated Screw System

with BioDur 108 Option.

High strength stainless steel that minimizes nickel exposure.

T700 Cannulated Screw System

The T700 Cannulated Screw system includes the two material options: titanium alloy and BioDur® 108 stainless steel.

BioDur 108 is a stainless steel alloy developed for medical applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance. The material is produced using the Electro-Slag Remelting process, which ensures the necessary micro-structure to achieve improved properties compared to other stainless steels. BioDur 108 also addresses the problem of nickel sensitivity [1], containing a significantly reduced level compared to other commonly used stainless steels.[2,3]
