TRIBRID®

Unicompartmental Knee System

The TRIBRID® Unicompartmental Knee System, launched in 2015, was designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. TRIBRID® has been enhanced to provide high flexion while maintaining stability, ensuring a more natural knee. TRIBRID® has also been designed using a CT bone database, to provide a wide range of options, personalized to fit. The femur features two pegs with consistent AP growth through 9 sizes in the US market, while the tibia features three pegs with consistent AP growth through 6 sizes in the US market. The accompanying instrumentation system provides a low-profile solution for the surgeon.

Patient Fit

Features appropriate proportions and size variations designed based on bone data to fit each individual patient. It is also an interchangeable system with all sizes of combinations of 9 sizes types of femoral components and 6 types of tibial baseplates.

Natural Knee Motion

To increase postoperative satisfaction, we pursued a design that allows natural knee motion. The femoral component is designed to extend the posterior condyle and prevent impingement between the bone and the implant during deep flexion. Additionally, the tibial insert has a flat, unconstrained bearing surface.

Ensuring A Stable Contact Area

Designed to Enhance Bone

Using FEA (finite element analysis), the design maintains a large contact area with the tibial insert throughout the entire range of motion, reducing the maximum principal stress generated in the tibial insert.

The tibial baseplate has three pegs and no vertical cuts, which is designed to reduce the risk of fractures.
